The Benefits of Keeping up with Fashion Week

The Benefits of Keeping up with Fashion Week

It’s (obviously) the start of the fashion week’s again. Fashion week, in all its iterations always makes me a bit crazy. There’s nothing like finding a collection full of stuff you love, stuff that you know you could make, and trends you didn’t know you needed. There’s also the disappointment of looking at a collection that just doesn’t… make sense.

Everyone has that friend who manages to look like they’re a lot less broke than they are. You know the one- always well dressed, always looking super trendy, and they always get the best deal. Some people do just have it… but a lot of the time it’s just research.

I love a good sale; my family knows me as the queen of a sale rack. Here’s the thing, no matter how great of a bargain it is if you never wear it it’s still a waste of money. Fit aside, trend pieces are on sale racks for a reason and there’s nothing worse than putting on something you wanted to try and realizing it just doesn’t work anymore.

One way to guarantee that you’re getting a good, on trend dupe is to, well, know what it’s duping. Thus, spying the runway.

Want to look like you’re dripping in Chanel? Maybe make yourself familiar with what Chanel is doing this season.
